Dear Youth Pastor or Youth Worker:
I am truly excited about Barbourville Pentecostal Youth Camp 2023! I am excited to see how God uses the Camp this year to touch and move in the lives of young people. God has used the Barbourville Pentecostal Youth Camp to touch thousands of lives and set into motion a vast Pentecostal army to penetrate and destroy the evil plan of the enemy. Numerous influential Pentecostal leaders have walked the grounds of the Appalachian Children’s Home during Youth Camp and each year, lives of young people are forever changed. Who knows which camper will be the next powerful influence in today’s society?
The dates for Barbourville Pentecostal Youth Camp 2023 are Monday, June 19 through Friday, June 23, 2023. This year the camp week will be somewhat different. We will not have service on Friday evening, and churches and campers will depart the grounds after the Morning Service on Friday. There are different reasons for this change, but in being transparent with our churches the main reason was budgetary. With that being said, I know many of you work hard to raise the funds to send your youth to camp, but we do need the consistent and ongoing financial support of our youth and churches to make BPYC happen each and every year. We are not a for-profit camp, and we work to put everything that we get from registration and donors back into this camp. You can use the giving button located on this website or you can mail funds to my address provided below.
Please review the information on this website.
It is imperative that you, as the leader, review, read, and become very familiar with all of the information for this year's camp. It is suggested you have regularly scheduled meetings with your youth group and youth workers to present and discuss all BPYC activities and policies. Please note several items and policies have changed. Pre-Registration ends Wednesday, May 31, 2023. DUE TO SPACE CONSTRAINTS, ALL CHURCHES AND PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO PRE-REGISTER. If your church is interested in attending BPYC for the first time, please contact us at (859)-379-9613.
In order to qualify as a camper, the student must be at least age 11 by the first day of camp and must not turn age 19 before the end of camp. Due to safety and liability concerns, absolutely no one under the age of 11 is allowed to attend.
If you are a counselor, you must be at least age 21. If you are not, and there are no other participants of age from your church, special permission must be given by the Camp Director for you to attend BPYC as a counselor. Volunteers must also receive special permission to attend from the amp director if under the age of 21. Please contact me (859)-379-9613 if you have any questions regarding participant ages.
Please note that Registration will once again be completed online. Please use the forms and links as provided.
Any questions regarding registration can be directed to Jacob and Mary Beth Fisher.

A registering church who plans to send campers, but is unable to provide counselors, must attempt to make prior arrangements with another participating church having counselors, and partner with them. If your church does not have a male or female counselor, please contact me at (859)-379-9613 , as these arrangements must be made prior to BPYC Registration.
Any additions to your church’s pre-registration participant count must be approved by the camp director prior to coming to BPYC. All additional registrants will be placed on a waiting list, due to space constraints, and is not guaranteed participation in BPYC. Should space be available to house additional participants, there is a possibility they may not be placed with their church in the dorms/barracks.
