What is Barbourville Pentecostal Youth Camp?
Each Summer, hundreds of students gather for a week in Barbourville, Kentucky to seek an encounter with God. Founded by a few independent Appalachian Pentecostal preachers in 1959, the mission of the BPYC is to reach out to students age 11-18, providing a place of fellowship and growth where we can connect with God, with each other, with churches, and the community. We exist to equip young people to develop a deeper relationship with Christ, encourage uplifting relations with other Christians, and empower life-changing relationships with non-believers. We believe that the experience that a camper, counselor, volunteer, and the staff receives during the week of BPYC will send them home as exceptional, Godly men and women of integrity who will transform their homes, their schools, their churches, their workplaces, and their world for Christ.
